In a world where every opinion matters, voicing your opinion about the movie you just watched can be quite difficult. Luckily, we live in a world of reviews, and if you’re not the one writing it, then there’s a film critic to do the job for us. Or you can visit Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregation website, which will tell you the truth about what you want to watch.
According to the Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer, the award for worst film of all time goes to Ballistics: Ecks vs. Sever (2002). The critic’s synopsis described it as “A wildly incompetent film, Ballistics: Ecks vs. Sever offering over-the-top action without a shred of intelligence, coherence, style or originality.”
The second worst entry is One Missed Call (2008), due to being considered “one of the weakest entries in the J-horror remake sweepstakes,” was completely undone by bland performances. The third worst is the 2012 film A Thousand Wordswhich critics described as a “painful mess” with “tasteless jokes.” So yes, not all films are born to be perfect, but some of them are difficult to watch.
