I’m in Mauritius now and are not sure whether many people know it (obviously not Americans!). The small island in the Indian Ocean, not far from Madagascar. Super clean and safe, easy to complete in a short time, feels like everyone speaks English or must be French. A very unique culture combines the influence of India, Africa, French, and British which means extraordinary food! Seychelles are also close if you want to hit both of them.

Bolivia. Extraordinary landscape, people who are willing to be clean and friendly, and very fun if you want to “party”. That was 10 years ago, I hope it is still fun because I hold a special place in my heart.

Paraguay is very cool. The history and culture of the capital of Asuncanón is really cool. Many wars with their neighboring countries for many years -at one point in their history such as 90% of Paraguay men were killed in war.

Social and food scenes are also silly! New grilled meat from Asado with friends is a thing from legend. One of my favorite parts of Paraguay is still late in a club with friends and then eat lomitos, this extraordinary sandwich in the bag that you buy in the parking lot at 4 am with about 50 other hungry drunk people.

Plus it’s cheap there. Uber crossed the city literally like 2 dollars. A pleasant lunch for 2 will cost 15 dollars. I got a massage for an hour in a good spa at a price of 25 dollars. If you have a limited budget, Paraguay is a place to visit. .

My wife and I went to Cartegena, Colombia last year and we had another visit planned for this year. It’s easy and fast to get from the US, cheap and delicious street food, friendly people, good weather throughout the year. Colombia is generally not the same as the 90s.

Kazakhstan. Nature and amazing view, unique cuisine (although not rich in varieties like in Southeast Asia), friendly people who are truly generous to guests. Also, an interesting archeological site.

I will also say tanzania. Really beautiful. Zanzibar has some of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen.

I’ve been to Mongolia. Really there is only one big city, Ulan Bator. The city is not too much to see, there are some good temples to see, as well as some good restaurants, but one or two days are enough. But that countryside! That’s very beautiful. My father and I went to a camp where they arranged you with GER (Yurt Mongolia), and you only hang out in the beauty of nature. We went to climbing rock and riding a horse. It became very cold at night in the spring, but there was a wooden stove in the middle of a ger, and remained very warm inside.
