I tried the macro lens upside down in 2012 for the first time. At that time, I first took pictures of things that were mostly not moving at all or only a little.

It turns out that the world is really interesting when you see it from a close perspective, even things that don’t live. Drops on DVD disk, bubbles in water bottles, concrete, electronic components, mechanical instruments … everything can look very different from normal when you are getting closer. And the double lens ratio is more than enough for this.

To be honest, I did not stop taking macro images completely, especially when coming to cold months when you could not find insects and plants living in nature. Instead, I use artificial objects, which you can portrait anytime at home.

I collected several pictures from the last 7-8 years, and hoped that some of you would be surprised when seeing details about how some things everyday can be seen up close.
