Hey friends, it’s time to reflect on the week and share some of the things that made it good. Welcome back to Friday Favorites!
1
On Tuesday (Monday is a national holiday), I returned to work after being on holiday for 4 weeks. I can’t say that going back to work is a favorite because having time off is really nice. But I felt pretty good about it and wasn’t scared or anything like that.
It’s actually nice to be able to wake up early to walk to work. These night owls enjoy very late nights and very lazy mornings!
As I said on Wednesday, the weather has been great, and even though we’re well into winter, it’s actually been very warm during the day.
Tuesday morning looks like this. It’s so beautiful with the sunlight shining through the trees, isn’t it?
And this is this afternoon.

This week, I went to the physio and actually tackled something I had been putting off. Off I go! I’ll share more about this in another post, but this is all about me and my bad jaw-clenching habit (ugh). I’ve always avoided health matters, so this felt like a win.

Mid-week churro snacks are a highlight.

This little dog scares me on my walks to and from work when he barks at me. He’s small, but he’s fierce.

I usually see him from a distance when his owner takes him for a walk, so I was prepared for his very clear intention of attacking me as I passed by. The owner must restrain him!
But when he’s in his front yard sometimes, he catches me off guard, and it’s kind of embarrassing how high I jump.
Not this week. This week I was ready, and I didn’t jump when he came at me. Ha ha.

Some of my preschool friends missed me while I was away. I have been getting pictures and paintings as gifts over the past few days, along with sweet words like “Miss Ruth, I miss you.”
This is like causing a domino effect. A few friends mentioned it, then others chimed in and wanted to give me something too.
One of my preschool friends asked our very cute class teacher to write a message to me on one of the paintings. Can you guess which part belongs to the friend and which part was added by him?

That concludes this week’s Friday Favorites. Hope you all get a good one too.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
